This page provides links to documents generated by the Policy Based Governance Working Group.  Many of these documents are being presented in draft form, meaning they will likely be updated going forward.  As we "re-publish" these documents, we will provide a list of dates on which we provided the updates so that visitors will be able to easily identify those documents that they may wish to review.

Congregational forums were held on April 14 ^th and 16 ^th, 2007 to explain what Policy-based governance is, why we think we need it at POP, and what it would look like at Prince of Peace.   At these forums, a summary document was distributed that describe some of the challenges our current structure presents, the basic elements and potential benefits of Policy-Based Governance, the tasks completed by the Working Group and the Council related to Policy-Based Governance, and potential next steps.  You may want to start with this document.
